Bobby the Bee didn't understand
what all the buzz was about.
Literally.
He watched other bees go to flowers...
but he didn't understand why.
He thought he would please the Queen,
so he took her a flower.
"Surely that is why bees hang around
flowers," he buzzed to himself.
Back at the beehive, it was another story!
Bobby was laughed right out of the hive.
Bobby saw some bees zooming and swirling
over a jar of honey.
"I will take the Queen some honey!
That's what she wants," he buzzed.
Before the laughter of the bees got too loud,
Bobby just flew away.
Bobby was angry. He thought,
"I'll teach everybody to laugh at me!
So
Bobby flew back to the hive mad as a hornet,
and showed everybody he had a stinger
and he wasn't afraid to use it!

Much to his surprise, everybody cheered
at Bobby's demonstration!
After that time, Bobby was
known as a really cool bee.
From that time forward,
the beehive sang in harmony for
"Bobby -- Protector of the Hive."
