At that moment Football strolled in.
"Hi, guys!" Football sputtered.
The two balls meekly replied,"Hi."

"Hello guys!" someone called.
The three balls turned aound and saw
Volleyball and Soccerball.

"So, did you guys see the balls that have been allowed

"No," the other balls chimed together.

"Look, there is one of the new inductees now," Volleyball quipped,
pointing to the hotel door.

The balls were dumbstruck as they stared
at the hockey puck coming toward them.

"Hey guys!" called Hockey Puck
as he joined the small group of balls.
"Hi," came the reserved reply.

"Have you guys seen the new recruit?"
asked Hockey Puck.

"Not another one!" the balls grumbled
among themselves.

But when the balls looked toward
the door they were completely bowled
over by what they saw.

"Well, she's not round. But she sure is cute,"

At that point, all the balls realized how silly they had been
in expecting everyone to look just like them.
